Door Jamb Install Start

Context: Door slabs and door jambs have been delivered. However, door slabs were not prepped for hardware. Magleby is planning on sending the door jambs and doors to Precision Millworks so that they can mortise the door slabs to match the jambs exactly.

Mitigation Plan: Magleby is moving forward with drywall tape and will touch up the drywall finish around the door jambs once installed.

09.05 Updates: Precision is planning on staining doors and door jambs while they are in their shop. We are currently working through samples to finalize the finish.

09.14 Updates: Sample review and approval ongoing.

09.20 Updates: Decision on finish should be shared early next week.

09.28 Updates: Pictures of stain samples with a recommendation from Britta were sent to Diane for approval. Please provide direction.

HVAC System Performance

Context: A potential issue with the North Village Single Family homes’ HVAC systems has been identified.

Mitigation Plan: WPR, Dahlin, and Magleby are working together to review the situation and identify a solution as soon as possible. This is a high priority item RAG is monitoring closely. We will keep you updated as soon as there are any developments.

09.05 Updates: Dahlin has engaged a mechanical engineer to review and design a solution to address the HVAC design so that the home cools to 68 degrees on the hottest days of the year. We expect to have further updates by the end of next week or beginning of the following week.

09.14 Updates: Pending analysis and due diligence from WPR.

09.20 Updates: Still waiting on direction from WPR.

09.28 Updates: Initial conclusions from Dahlin & a 3rd party engineer suggest that HVAC cooling systems were under-designed. We are now awaiting a formal report and recommendations for each home from Dahlin.
