Preliminary demolition has been completed, and Authority HVAC is ready to begin work. Magleby is currently awaiting final approval from WPR for the HVAC rework before proceeding. We expect to receive an AWA this week that will add the HVAC scope to the project budget. Once the AWA is approved, Magleby will finalize a construction schedule for our review.
Magleby is moving forward with reconstructing the staircase to match the architectural drawings. The stair treads have been removed, and Chad F. is currently working on scheduling the necessary steel rework.
At this time, the work is not expected to impact the overall project end date. However, the handrail will need to be installed prior to passing the Certificate of Occupancy inspection. In the meantime, limited stair access will make movement between the upper and lower floors more difficult and may hinder progress on other interior work within the home.
Baseboard installation continued.
Tile installation continued.
Magleby is working through all MEP device locations and making final adjustments as needed.
Stair treads were removed ahead of the stringers being reworked.
